He could be persecuted due to his own fault. I happen to believe this.

Could be true....I don't have enough information to make the call....I don't think any of us do. Only God really knows if Bush is following his will. Bush may not even know for sure. I'd say that many follow the will of Satan, yet fully believe they are following God, when actually they are only following a god of this age.

Here's the problem with trying to judge Bush. There is just too much propaganda at this point. We have been inundated with spin from the likes of Micheal Moore, Ted Kennedy, The Clintons, The Dixe Chicks, and the entire left wing. They have not had their guy in charge for quite some time now, and they sure don't want to miss it again. I just don't buy it. Most of the opinions I get around the water cooler are from the view point of Michael Moore. His fictional work that Bush and company are just corrupt for the purpose of making more money on oil. That's ludicrous....yet that's what so many believe, because they have heard it over and over from so many of the "stars" in Hollywood.

If I was going to agree with a view, it would be much closer to what was written in Rollingstone Magazine lately. I don't know who the writer was, buy he believes that the real deal with Bush, is that he is just too "black and white" in his religious views. He says that Bush is more of the puritan type and holds fast to the old school ways of the church. He says that Bush will not change with times, and only sees things filtered through his religious principles. He also says that Bush's views are wrong, and he is being led astray.

Now, that is an assessment I can deal with. If that be the case, then either Bush is right, or he is wrong....no grey there. I agree that Bush is making decisions based upon what he believes the Bible teaches. I think it has nothing to do with money...just principles. So, the question is....Is he operating out of the right set of beliefs? Here are a few of Bush's positions...I don't see any grey area here:

The Tyrant Saddam Hussein removed from power. This man IS a weapon of mass destruction. He was murdering his own kind. This was the right thing to do. Who would put him back in power to terrorize his own people?

The Invasion of Afghanistan - this is a no-brainer. Afghanistan had been taken over by the Taliban. When Bush directed the US forces to crush the Taliban, he essentially set forth the mechanism that would free millions of people, that were living in slavery to the Taliban. Who would put those people back into slavery?

The Assault on the American Church - Same sex marriage....now that's what they call an oxymoron (A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined). The word marriage was first coined by God, and is to indicate the joining of a man and a women...by God. He is not willing to join a man and a man, or a woman and a woman. Therefore, same sex marriage is impossible. Why do I link it with the above two? Because I have read the Biblical response to such. God is not gray in the matter one bit. He will be grieved a long time, but when the sexual matters get too corrupt, look out.

And you know what is most troubling about the whole notion? This word....acceptance. Is just crazy. Homosexuality is the only sin that I know of, that the perpetrator will come to the church and try to rally support of it's acceptance. When we do not accept gay marriage, then we are said to not be tolerant or loving. The church is more than willing to help someone with the propensity for that type of sin, but the idea is to work towards the removal...not towards the acceptance. After all, that's the real point of needing Jesus. He helps us be able to do what we could not do on our own unaided strength. The heroine addict claims a Higher Power removes the urge for the drug....same principle applies.

So, based on Bush's stances on those issues, who would say that he is led by evil? Would Satan control a guy to battle against such things?
