Maybe it's different here in the sunny south with our beautiful weather and lakes but having a boat is both a privilege a pleasure. Hobbies are important and mooching off of others hobbies isnt a hobby my friend. Sure it costs some money and takes some work but I like that because it will keep the lazy and cheap out of my way when I'm dropping my boat in the water.

No salt water, no wintering, no ice or snow! It's a no brainer!
