At this point, being off grid using battery stored power.. You really have to be kind of a nerd?. My oven is using 3600W single phased. A normal built in oven. I can only see this working in a combination with gas.

I do hate the utility providers and taxation here in Denmark though. Paying 6 cents/kwh and 28 cents tax / kwh = 34cents/kwh + disgusting maintenance fees .. So, were i to build myself a new vacation house, i would consider this solution, hopefully with some Solar3d panels
