Sorry, I ran out of posts yestderay.

Not sure what you're asking about Withers.

Know, like anybody, you'll find different opinions and different experiences in dealing with someone, but overall I thought Scott Withers worked extremely hard to make the network a success. For those of you riding the "gravy train" thread, last I heard, Scott lost his house over all this, so there's another Q success story for ya.

What impressed me with Scott was leadership. I've worked in this business a long time now and leadership is very rare. You'll always have some suit to make decisions, but they don't often stand by their decisions. Scott always did. If he decided to add another show, he stayed with us to work on it. If he decided we neede to come in early or stay late, he was there with us.

During the "life-support" phase, the guy was doing everything. He'd be there all night and day putting pieces together, then came down to host the news, then stage managed or produced for the other shows until we'd all go home and he'd start the cycle again.

He made mistakes too, everyone does, but he was one of the folks there that really inspired me to go above and beyond to make Q work.

Oh, that's right, I have to take that back, supposedly I was just there milking the place to line my own pockets. I forgot.
