Winick and Curry will pay for the crimes they committed, The degree of the penalty is the question. All too often "white collar crime" is handled with a rather benign judgment thus you see the scam problem continue unbated. Let's hope this case sets a precedence.
That still doesn't address the question of how do to deal with people who continue to dissemble shamelessly. Unfortunately, the only step I can see is to censure that person (a step which has occurred on another board where they practiced the same shameful campaign of disinformation)
I was not a victim of this particular scam. My purpose here is to help see that truth prevails, to support those who were victimized and attempt to silence those who take delight in disseminating false and totally misleading comments. I can't speak for anyone else but I find it reprehensible and unacceptable
