BMOC Partners CEO Lance Lehr
stated, "With our other two recently opened locations reporting strong
sales attributed to specialty coffees and other drinks the sales volume
from the food sector is stronger than expected. This is very positive,
and exceptionally promising," stated Lehr. He noted that with the remodel beginning in the Johnstown location this
next week "we are right on target for the opening of Johnstown and
Schuylkill Valley locations during May, 2015. In addition, BMOC is currently in negotiation with Baristas
to continue franchising and expanding developments throughout the
summer. Sites under consideration are located in malls at Wilkes-Barre,
Scranton, and Easton, in Pa.; and at Las Vegas, NV; Chicago, IL; and in Vermont. Mall owners are coming to us, asking for our participation," Lehr said. "We have a solid concept built around the Baristas Coffee Company brand." Lehr
cited the Las Vegas mall, and its desire to see the Hale and
Hearty Soup line in its food court, and more recently, another mall
owner that has offered to build out a stand-alone storefront when
entering the mall solely to accommodate Baristas if BMOC chooses to site a store in their Chicago retail development. Both locations are under consideration, and discussion, with Baristas management at present time.
