Strut - ask yourself this question:

If "Glassware" (however you define it - it no longer appears to be a product but a "collection of technologies") is so important to Microsoft, why are there no Microsoft PRs about it, why are they not even at BUILD or Ignite conferences, why are no Microsoft senior software engineers or architects writing, speaking, or blogging about it like they do on Docker and other technologies?

Large companies that are desperate to grow their cloud platforms aren't really into picking the winners and losers in small/startup companies. Throwing a puff PR quote from a marketing guy, and letting a company use the tech centers for demos is low cost optionality

Thinking that "Glassware" is some monster covert strategic imperative for Microsoft is humorous to me.
