To break up the monotony of a boring day, such as today, I've decided to start an occasional series (once in a blue moon/once in a month of Sundays) on terms that are essential to understanding trading/investing.

The first term that I wish to present is "shitload." I've taken the liberty of copying and pasting this from the $MINE IHUB board.

How much is a shitload?

A Shitload is considered a base unit for quantity, much like the foot or the metre is for length. It is represented by the symbol '$' in the scientific community. This should not be confused with the dollar sign (also '$'), though in most cases they have the same meaning in application.

A Shitload is one of the SI Units, and can now be defined as 8.3264 * 10^9 units, or 8326400000, which is considered by many as a comparatively large number due to the fact that it is the approximate number of times that have been spent on the toilet since the beginning of the common era
