The application is enabling the network distribution of the company to register on line sales transactions by automatically generating the warrant programme attached to them. It is solving the issues faced with the old process based on a coupon involving several steps and avoiding the one time completion of the transaction.
The critical aspect of the quick tracking of the potential claim and the instantaneous identification of the person issuing it is provided by the Vocalid® smart card which is bringing the authentication.
The time saving, the accuracy of the transaction and the generation of the useful data recorded for the statistics are offering a very valuable tool for the tracking and the cost efficiency of the programme.
The pilot project is due to be running by mid of June 2006, and the first volume production of 20,000 smart cards will be delivered in September. The basic 2007 forecast is at the level of 100,000 smart cards and worth several hundred thousands of euros.
