considering that I worked at the Rochester Institute of Technology's Center for Imaging Science, I can say that this technology is definitely solid.

We used to take our plane out and use the same techniques to analyze biological composition in local ponds and lakes. The images would have different wavelengths depending on what the biological activiy level was.

We didn't make maps though. I know there are a lot of companies out there that make maps instantly from the air--maybe if they need more projects they can use this part of their technology to make more money.

I was just thinking that perhaps there isn't as much buying power as hoped for because investors don't know enough about this kind of thing. It's also the same technology they use to figure out what other planets/stars are made out of from a distance.
