Think of it this way.

Scott/MINE/LEVEL 5 bought 5% of Gary Smith/BIG RED, for $500K.

Scott/MINE/LEVEL 5 bought 5% of Darin Ezra/Power Brands for $500K.

Each transaction obtained 1.25% of the total 100% or 2.5% for $1M dollars combined.

If, 2.5 x 40 = 100
Then, 40 x $1M = $40M, the $40M represents what Vitamin Fizz is worth today and not tomorrow, as it will be worth a lot more in Future Dollars.
Current and Future dollars are not equal..by a long shot.

Simple algebraic or philosophical equation. Yep, philosophy has math too, (IF, THEN).
So does Geometry for that matter, and its called proofing a problem.. answer-->question must equal question-->answer.
