When can shares be traded for MDCND

Two responses that I just received from my people involved with another stock that recently did a reverse split.

I asked how long before we could trade our shares. I received these replies

1.They were able to be traded the entire time. You just had to call your broker to sell. Buying was able to be done at any time online.

2.You could call in for a manual trade the same day. It took about three trading days for scottrade to allow internet trades post split. Others were a day before a day later but about 3-4 biz days in general.
