North Dalota Flaring... the problem / opportunity of flaring from my perspective...

BIG Problem... small opportunity

Turning all currently flared gas into electricity throughout North Dakota still begs the question:

How would all the electricity generated be delivered to a significant point of demand?

Cross country transmission lines take time to deploy and wouldn't be easily redeployed after installation.

While the exhaust coming from Capstone Microturbines is relatively clean, what will be done with the enormous and broadly dispersed electrical output?

There's is still no way to transmit the massive and broadly distributed amount of waste heat to somewhere it can be put to broad productive use.

So, MTs in the North Dakota oil/gas fields are realistically only a way make the massive smoky wastage less visible.
