The sad thing is no one is going to make any profit off Eddie, his family, his cronies or other insiders because they swap virtually worthless business "assets" they personally own for huge blocks of shares which they intend to dump on retail buyers. Any money one gleans from these scams comes directly from the pockets of another hopeful investor. It's a "zero sum game" based solely on the "greater fool theory of investing."

The greater fool theory states that the price of an object is determined not by its intrinsic value, but rather by irrational beliefs and expectations of market participants. A price can be justified by a rational buyer under the belief that another party is willing to pay an even higher price.
