Thanks for the info and links. I'm still somewhat skeptical of the reporting. Having spent over ten years analyzing customer satisfaction statistics, I'm not a big fan of the methodology. I had to determine a contractor's service level based on approximately 30 responses per month from a pool of over 4,000 customers. Multiply that by 15 and my head was spinning. They tell me it's the same method used to declare an election winner within minutes of the polls closing. I know we all enjoy that.

In California, Kaiser-Permente is rated as one of the the best healthcare systems. I've been with them for almost two years now, and I would agree with the ratings. It is an all encompassing system. Almost every facility has a pharmacy. Afrezza is on their formulary. I don't know if they would release information on the number of scripts. My daughter works for a competing hospital organization and she has informed me that her group is attempting to model their operation on Kaiser's. That is, all services, including a pharmacy, in-house.

There are 20,000 to 30,000 "mom and pop" pharmacies nationally. I can't see them all being polled on Afrezza sales. I would like to hear from MNKD on reorders from suppliers. That's why I watch the refills. The voice of the customer. If a patient is satisfied with the product, they will order refills.

It is too early to make any determination on the success or failure of Afrezza based on the NRx totals. Soft launch numbers are meaningless. By year's end we should have a better idea of where this is going.
