Seems to me that addicts don't want to be saved by anyone. So Opana ER and other opioid drugs are livingly performing as intended. I don't think I have ever seen a label that reads, "will save addicts from themselves." The argument is the same one used with firearms. Firearms do not kill; killers do but that doesn't not mean that the firearm is faulty.
