It beggars belief they hadn't done it the minute the suspension was issued.
I also don't believe they have consulted lawyers, otherwise they wouldn't have posted this nonsense on their website:
"I most assuredly understand and appreciate your concerns in this matter and would ask for your continued support and patience as we work to get our financials filed and the suspension lifted."
The suspension will be lifted automatically at 23.59 on May 5. SEC only has power to suspend stocks for ten days.
Both the SEC or an attorney could have told them that.
Heck, I could have told them that.
It would make sense not to contact SEC or a lawyer, however, if they had no intention of filing audited accounts or contesting the revocation that will likely follow in a few weeks' time.
No more pesky shareholders to worry about, or forensic accountants poking around their numbers, leaving Brain and Adam free and clear to enjoy the Canadian dream.
