erthang: if you do some research on the other big serum assays, or are old enough to have them administered on you regularly by your doctor, you will see that none of them employ personal baselines. PSA levels fluctuate greatly in an individual -- things like excessive sex, benign prostate conditions, general inflammation, STD's, medications, and many other factors cause this phenomena of PSA level fluctuation.

my guess is that RECAF will have the same issues...ie; since RECAF detects rapid cell division, when an individual breaks his foot he might see an above average RECAF reading as he will experience rapid cell division in the tissue regrowth/repair process.

that is life in the world of diagnostics...there will always be anomalies and you do not NEED constant levels of any biomarker, period.
