2% of assets invested is a big hit, but it is far from devastating, it happened to me in the last two years when AREM crashed on me without giving me time to get stopped out...but frankly, if you use stops, and don not concentrate too much in a single issue, that should not happen more than once a year and other positions should well compensate for it (try and calculate the bu$$ overall return so far since early January, contributing about 15% growth in the whole folio, it should be illegal...).
