there is NO WAY to verify a phone conversation ..... if the company wants you to know something they need to do the LEGAL thing and Disclose it ,!!

Not with a phone conversation to a shareholder or potential investor to spread rumor on a public message board ,,,,

but then again if made said it on the other board it must be alright,
