mvp-thread:...stop losses The mvp program is very different than your normal trading system, and probably doesn't fit the traditional stop loss concept anyway.

There is a 5% stop loss on the shorts, which has never been triggered in 10 years of the current version.

The new style rebuys completely obsoleted the old ones as well as the override buys. They have 5 types of sell code based on dp oscillators and don't use a stop loss per se. 16 losers, 81 total trades.

The orininal style mvp buys don't have a stop and have an occasional drawdown worst so far, current version is 17.6 percent loss during the trade. No mvp original buy since inception 10 years ago, current version, has ever failed to end with a profit, if you held until next sell. They are based on known repeating extremes in vix, pcr, backed up with sp400 summations, macds etc. There have only been 16 completed orig buys to date. (beside the current 1)

You CAN time the market!

But only after you trash the big 3 myths.

Myth 1 - its possible to get every point of every move
...Myth 2 - you'll never have a drawdown
......Myth 3 - you'll never have a loss
