The filing finally showed up. Court will reconvene on April 30th. The reason given was to allow time for an "investigation." Not sure who requested this extension but my guess is Eddie did. Either that or he one of the parties made claims that the judge or the other side wanted cleared up.
Seems I recall Eddie telling someone something like he couldn't have stolen those paintings because he already owned them. Either way, it sounds like one of the parties didn't bring rock-solid proof to back up their claim... or that the proof that was provided was either suspect or insufficient therefore warranting further "investigation."
It also says "reset of probable plea." That tells me Eddie's goose is likely cooked. He's just wanting to provide a little something more to get a better deal.
This makes the 16th delay in this case since 3/27/14
