You got hypnotized by the increase in price
and couldn't force yourself to buy? If so, I know what you are talking about. This thing often happened to me in my first months of trading. Needless to say it has cost me a lot. It is a purely psychological defense mechanism that can't be hacked it seems. The only way to skip this unpleasant stage of personal growth as a trader is to overcome it naturally through experience.
