LOL... TSMC's pile of cash is growing extraordinarily quickly, and this is while increasing capex, where their expenses are concentrated (which you think is a vulnerability, even though this concentration of expenses translates directly into money-making machinery.)

You start to sound a bit desperate with your argumentation. Do you really think TSMC will win this by hoarding cash up front? Maybe Apple would have enough cash for that, but definitely not TSMC. CAPEX is backed by operating cash flow, which is significantly higher for Intel than for TSMC. And flummoxed was right that TSMC spends almost all its operating cash flow for CAPEX, sometimes even exceeding where the negative free cash flow originated from.
