If it wasnt too much trouble searching the old posts, I would love to bring up all those old posts where others argued with me that you dont reapply clear coat to a car, and the suns UV dont effect the paint. Someone even said he got that info from the CEO of NEOM, yet look what the CEO has to say now....

Then there is the issue of the numbers of cars for the month of April. If the facts in the press release are accurate, this number is impossible as its been stated here. I believe I read a post that said 45,000 cars for the month of April. I believe that is innacurate. I think the CEO is saying in total since they opened the repair shop they did 45,000.

Think about it for a minute. In a typical month with 30 days, working 24 hours a day, there is a total of 43,200 minutes times the 2 assembly lines they have operating, for a total of 86,400 total minutes. Thats 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, times 30 days, times 2 assembly lines. To process 45,000 vehicles in one month, that means 1 vehicl every 1.9 minutes. Thats impossible, especially when line 2 is for larger jobs. Even the smallest paint repair takes 20 minutes to prep the vehicle, select the right paint color and mix the paint, and then paint the vehicle section. The prep work is at least 10 minutes of roughing up the surface and taping off the area.

And if they did 45,000 vehicles to date, where is the revenue. Paint revenue hasnt changed a whole lot over the past year. Even last quarters numbers showed a huge loss in the paint business, so with all those cars its still a long way from even breaking even.
