It's good to see that Mueller is sympathetic to the cause and noted that attitudes toward marijuana are shifting.
From a non-biased stand point I agree with Mueller that this wasn't the time or place for the law to be overturned.
Moreover, I agree that rational basis was the right standard for review in this case, as there is probably no fundamental liberty interest at stake here, and even if there was, that is more of a question for the USSC than Judge Mueller.
In my personal opinion, matters of bad law are better addressed by Congress than an unelected judiciary, at least in theory. Let's see if Congress can get the CARERS Act done. I think there is at least a decent chance at it happening this session.
With President Obama coming out in support of MMJ, and with the Gupta documentary airing soon, the sector could make a healthy reversal here still. Time will tell.
Regardless, I'm patient in my investment here, because I know what I own in EDXC.
