Wasn't intended as a strawman... Should have written "can't easily..."

I personally have no trouble writing conversational style text on a mobile.

I use a Swype-style + autocorrect/autocomplete touchscreen keyboard with a speed and ease that still surprises me sometimes. I even find using that easier and faster on a little portrait-style phone keyboard than I do on a more normal-sized tablet kb, because the swiping strokes are so short and fast.

But that's me, I really like trying new things.
