This is why AMD needs such a long lead time on Inel to get a product established.

The only thing slower than AMD's R&D/production is their ability to establish a great product in the marketplace. Intel has such a stronghold on the market and can easily catch up before AMD gets rolling.
AMD probably has a year on Intel to get x86-64 established but they likely will still blow it.
