Clearly I remember carrying Tootie out to the car...
hoping she wouldn't wake up as the most tortures fear of what I might find flushed through my system.

I was driving her car. She drove mine to work that afternoon so I was looking for a black Pontiac Fiero.
Nothing....
Parking lot was empty.
Perko's was dark.

I will never forget the thoughts rolling through my head as I lifted the dumpster lid behind Perko's.
