The news paper had pictures. It was stated that the parts came from the Sigma printer. Attendees watched the 290/PR3d print parts, they stated dignitaries were from various fields - even EOS was there. (maybe their worried?? :):) joking)
Someone posted this was all just a pump with no fundamentals.
I say most companies, big or small, will have an open house to unveil a new product. Invite dignitaries and industrial guests,news media and give a demonstration(if possible) and press the flesh as they say.
GE does it, Honeywell does it. Heck even the military does it. No body says it's an empty pump for them.
I'll stick with what info I know. Working with major players - for years to develop a better way to produce 3D parts.
Would I like to see a monster contract - you bet. Would "I" like it NOW - you bet. But you aren't going to rush the big guys. They will do things on "their" time table. Not Sigma's and certainly not ours. All because - they're the BIG guys.
