Actually, my previous post is an accurate and honest evaluation of Bluefire's current status and performance in their sector.
How can anyone still honestly think their conversion process is competitive with alternative technologies?
It hasn't been kept secret. All of the details have been paraded around to any prospective financier, partner, investor, etc.
Other than the "refundable" 1% of Fulton, they haven't been able to convince anyone to provide financing. During the same time period (last 5-7 years) several competing technologies have been successful in proving their process economics at bench scale and pilot scale, secured financing, built commercial scale plants, and are now producing cellulosic ethanol.
I have provided all of the links to verifiable info in my sticky post.
Bluefire is one of the losers in the free market "competition" and no amount of hope or faith in man or deity can change that.
