Deform
Allows for intervention- ie, by a person. It does not do it itself- yet. I think it was one Conference Call ago that Mark talked about this- said that it will alert "the controller- the engineer" to conditions which could lead to a defect so he/she can properly calibrate the machine and correct it- either before the problem happens, or before the next build. He also talked about how closed-loop control is the ultimate goal; and yes, they must carefully guard their IP. My thinking is that since they haven't even developed Thermal yet- and you'll need all 3 to achieve it- it will be awhile. The bright side is that we hold the patent- and are way further ahead than anyone else at achieving it. Also, if someone in America does get there first, they will have to pay big royalties assuming we can sustain a long court battle.
