I give you an example, GE plans to print 40,000 nozzles by year 2020. This is approximate 8000 nozzles / year (40,00/5).

The time spent to print (1) test piece at EWI was 194 hours. Page 26: http://marketing.ewi.org/acton/attachment/12956/u-0003/0/-/-/-/-/

Let's say this test piece is GE's nozzle.

1 part = 8 days (194 / 24 = 8.08)

365 / 8 = 45.625 parts/year/machine

8,000 nozzles / 45 parts = 177.78 machines needed for a goal of 40,000 nozzles.

24 hour operation and no failed parts.
