Still relevant.. that is, unless, Huerfano County Geographic, Geologic, and Hydrologic Setting moved (big earthquakes there lately)? Drill samples from the 50's are relevant today (for many states). Granted, modern water exploration techniques are necessary, but they would be foolish to ignore previous geographic testing.

Shoot, just look at one of the many drilling services in Colorado! They got it together!
