*IMPORTANT READ* Short chart shows, after all the interday swaping of shares, that there is 2,275,706 shares to be settled.
The rest was someone saying, "I'll sell you those 1 Mil shares, okay, thanks." then the same person turns around and says, " Hey bud, I need 1 Mil shares, how about sell them to me...Great thanks."
All those type of transactions show up on the chart you are using, but are settled by the end of the day. Not truly short sells as you are trying to use them.
