Hehehe...so I noticed after I responded to your post. Gold notwithstanding, the north Georgia mountains is a beautiful part of this country and the trout fishing, I'm told, is quite good (also, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie and brim). I used to attend a dozen-or-so weekend bluegrass festivals every summer and my absolute favorite was in Dahlonega, 3rd weekend in June...went to 23-in-a-row 'til they moved it to a much less desirable site in Cherokee, NC.
