Yes tobacco will kill you but it is safe to purchase and Health Canada has done all the research on tobacco. It has HC stamp of approval.

Cannabis is non-toxic but it may land you in jail if you are not grandfathered. Thanks to the activist who have beaten HC in court every single time.

I find the Arsenic-Cadnium-Lead-Mercury Health Canada's accepted tolerance limits for herbal medecine for human consuption way too high. It needs to be lowered.
