I believe the recent private placement is a positive in 2 ways:

1) The company has previously stated they had enough cash to see it through the NDA filing. I think potential suitors figure let the company do all the heavy lifting now, and later, having few options, could be bought on the cheap. Now, with the new cash infusion the company has options( including contracting a manufacturing facility and beginning the building of a sales rep force) at that point in time. This should make potential suitors think twice about delaying.

2) The story the company has been selling all along is validated.
The next 2 years are the home stretch and some very smart money just said "yeah", everything is as it seems and we smell money in the near turn.- Enjoy the ride.
