The clock is ticking and now Poland has developed a liquid body armor. The liquid hardens when struck with a projectile, diffuses the energy of the projectile and prevents penetration. It will have multiple uses in armor, roadside barriers, and bumpers. No idea how much it costs, but it is certainly more easily manufactured then weaving silk. There is an impressive video on the reuters.com website. Perhaps KBLB should pick up the pace.
