Good Example:
Spark Therapeutics (ONCE) in business since 2013. Went Public February 2015 @ $23 current stock price $70. Has 1 drug in fully enrolled PHIII trial for congenital blindness disease orphan drug status 3600 people in North America and Europe suffer from this disease....3,600.
$258 MM cash in bank enough to fund operations through 2018. Data expected 2H2015. Market Cap $1.75 Billion
December 2014 Pfizer partners with company $20MM upfront, $260MM total commitment for drug to treat hemophilia B a rare genetic blood disorder 26,000 people WORLDWIDE suffer from this disease.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC acted as lead book-running managers
for the offering. Cowen and Company, LLC acted as lead manager and Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC acted as co-manager.
In other words the big boys came out to play on this one.
Bad Example:
And we have PPHM with MLV and Roth as our IB's. with $250MM cap, cancer drug with indiciatons for hundreds of thousands if not millions worldwide in PHIII albeit not fully enrolled with multiple indications. In the field of cancer immunotherapy the HOTTEST field in cancer research at this time
PPHM at company who stays alive with ATM stock sales, dilution, trades at 1.33 share with 52 wk high of 2.09 and low of 1.19. A company run for over 10 years by the same people and BOD. They Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight...
Price Target.....who really gives a hoot?
What is wrong with this picture? Street credibility.

Verdict: DEAD MONEY
Move on to other opportunities, divorce the stock. It's a bad marriage and no amount of marriage counseling will fix it. Stop wasting mental and emotional energy hoping this does something.....there are so many opportunities in this space
Good luck
