The future of OMEX is soon to be spelled AHMSA . Difficult to understand the picture without knowing who owns their paper and the links into the developing Mexican fertilizer marketplace they are playing.
That the old management team would surely have screwed up...on that I agree. I am backing Alonso't team, not Stemm's.

The shorts are trapped by the low volumes and that is merely icing on the cake.

I don't expect traders to have done due diligence on OCP, MOS, Cargill, Pemex, and Pena Nieto's campaign against hunger in Mexico and his call to increase domestic fertilizer production (note the Pajaritos deal).
Therein lies the opportunity for a few informed investors to make money on this one. At a $60mm market cap I remain a buyer...regret my $250mm market cap buys since those may merely break even...but as you say that is water under the bridge. Another 90 days will clarify the value changer that Oceanica was to OMEX.
