Actually proctitis and colitis are different- one is external and one is internal disease.

BK explained at one time that Proctitis will need ointment kind of drug and trial could be much faster and simpler. That could be reason Leo is targetting it.

Colitis will need internal drug and may have much longer approval cycle and may need dose optimization etc.
The treatment for it could come later.
