Lasers, I'm confused by what you're saying.

WeeZuhl the purpose of the ADT is to stop the abuse by those looking for an immediate high or on suicidal intent.

The FDA has come under high criticism for the recent IR opioid.

An IR ADT would never be approved as it would defeat the purpose of the antagonist standby.

As per my post, abusers can get an immediate high from crushing and then snorting or injecting OxyIR the exact same way as crushing and then snorting or injecting OxyER. The only advantage to abusing OxyER is less filler material:

1 OxyContin 40mg exactly equals 8 tabs oxyIR 5mg (when crushed).

-Advantage of OxyContin is less material to snort/inject.
-Advantage of OxyIR is no hardshell to deal with.

Please explain how IR ADT would "defeat the purpose of antagonist standby." If the OxyNal formulation is taken orally as intended, the naltrexone passes through without release, whether it is 6 hour time release, 12 hour time release, or 24 hour time release.

Also, the naltrexone ADT will NOT prevent suicide, as an oral ingestion of a fatal dose will not release the naltrexone, unless the tabs are crushed.
