Last I checked it was right around 2100 members. Sadly, I was one of those who thought (hoped, had faith, prayed, and expected) MJ-Xchange to turn into the face book of the MJ industry. I have asked several times why they don't advertise and you should hear the excuses! "We don't have the money", "the target audience of High times magazine wouldn't respond." "That money would be better spent on something else.".... in other words... they are not interested in growing the site!! ADVERTISING IS EVERYTHING these days. So, I came to the conclusion that not only does no one care if MJ-Xchange grows, but also, out of the 2100 members, there are only about 200 that actively use it and that is being VERY liberal. I am not friends with many there so I wouldn't know if non friends are using the site, so I may be wrong, but I KNOW from a role I once played there were NEVER more than 20-60 online at ANY given time of day or night. Heck, out of my 120+ friends there, only about 5 ever comment, like, or even see my posts! So yeah... MY MISTAKE for ever thinking Mike Shea was capable of making MJ-Xchange turn into anything more than the $400 website it is. There is clearly potential for it to continue to grow but like it or not, ADVERTISING is the only way it will get any attention. And no one there seems to be interested in that. Oh yeah.... $2 million in "operating expenses" though.... not enough money to advertise. LMAO! It could still grow as the industry continues to explode, but how many other marijuana social outlets are there or will there be? You may just be right RB 79.
