It's a bloodbath at the Corporate Office today. Looter gave pink slips to most of the secretarial pool and about half of the accounting department. IT was largely spared (they continue working full steam on the HEMPSTER web sites). Marketing lost 4, Sales Administration lost 2. Even the manager of the Corporate Cafeteria was let go...something about the incoming CEO wanting more gluten free options.

The severance packages are generous and health coverage continues for 6 months so there's some upside. Looter also promised good references as long as potential employers don't mind mangled English and random punctuation.
