I disagree and SO DO ALL OF THE CREDIT ISSUERS INCLUDING STANDARD AND POORS.
You're opinion of what debt is a problem, and what debt isn't a problem should be internally reviewed after you read the credit downgrades SOGC has suffered in the last month.
Debt aside, SOGC really needs to communicate, near term, to their investors regarding how they intend to improve their corporate finance structure.
Worst case?
They come out and they say "we've partnered with XYZ capital and are going to issue a billion shares in exchange for debt financing"...
Stock would plummet immediately into sub penny.
Best case...
They restructure existing debt and sell bonds with fixed rates...
No matter what... With fossil fuel prices dropping like panties on prom night, this company will see tough times going forward and the only way the stock will rise from here is transparency from management.
