Germanwings is a consequence of low pilot wages

Pizza delivery boys make more than new hire
commuter airline pilots.

When you pay highly skilled people this way,
or even if you treat them this way,
good people begin to no longer show up.

Now privacy laws will be relaxed. And it will
become a witch hunt on pilots. There are
enough pilots on anti-anxiety meds to really
frighten the public.

So this is a big can of worms.

And if there is actually a pilot shortage,
it will get worse.

Chalk this up to first greed, then egalitarianism.
Treating highly skilled people the same as any
other employee, or pretending that everyone
is the same, does have consequences.
