With a pump and dump like DNNC it's not about price, it's about volume. When you're selling shares with a zero cost basis, whatever you get is profit. If you can sell 1,000 shares at $.0002, that's 20 cents. A million at $.0001, that's $100.
It's not a question of "letting it run". If they could sell 10 million shares at $.0002, they would. Of course they'll sell at the highest GROSS value possible. And that means lots of shares at $.0001 to retail who thinks it's a lotto play. But you get enough of those $100, $500 and even $1,000 lotto tickets sold, and you've got some nice benjamins.
Eventually, they'll reverse split and start again.
Competing is intense among humans, and within a group, selfish individuals always win. But in contests between groups, groups of altruists always beat groups of selfish individuals.
