I hope she sticks to her beliefs and tells the state of Washington the PC Capital of the world to read the constitution again.

Amazing what is in that constitution if one just reads it.

My bet is if the constitution was followed 85% of government wouldn't exist!

The TERRORIST we have in the White House wouldn't be there either.

I guess the word treason got thrown out a long time ago in this anything goes country we now live in.

Richland florist fined $1,001 for denying flowers to same-sex couple

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - A Washington state florist who refused to provide flowers for a same-sex wedding has been fined $1,000 - plus $1 for court costs and fees.

Benton County Superior Judge Alexander Ekstrom's ruling Friday gives Barronnelle Stutzman, owner of Arlene's Flowers and Gifts in Richland, Washington, 60 days to come up with the money. The shop refused to serve Robert Ingersoll and Curt Freed when they sought to buy wedding flowers in 2013.

The judge's ruling also requires that everything Arlene's Flowers sells to opposite-sex couples has to be available at the same price to same-sex couples.

Ekstrom had found in February that the refusal violated Washington's anti-discrimination and consumer protection laws. Stutzman had told the couple their marriage went against her beliefs as a Southern Baptist.
