Maybe others can give a better answer or correct my thinking, but here goes.

I personally have looked at the math concerning decay a fair amount. What I walk away with is, yes there is decay, but as long as you are not holding this for 1 year +, I would worry more about the percentage you get on a rise up than decay.

I have traded Uwti and Dwti afew times holding for no more than a week, and I have been affected by decay ZERO. Irregardless if the price was where it was at previously, making 20% is still making 20%.

Think short term (less than a year for sure) and you should be fine.

If you hold for 6 months and it trades sideways (doubtful given the volatility and geopolitical events on the horizon) you might feel it a little.
